Trump on Tuesday asked a prominent anti-vaxxer to lead a commission on vaccine safety.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr., son of Bobby Kennedy, said he agreed to lead the commission, which will seek to ensure there is “scientific integrity in the vaccine process for efficacy and safety effects,” Kennedy said.
Kennedy believes vaccines have led to a rise in autism, a claim that’s been debunked by doctors and scientists.
Kennedy told reporters Tuesday that Trump “has some doubts about the current vaccine policies.” Read more

I’m having a hard time articulating my thoughts right now but

as an autistic woman, I am begging my allistic (non-autistic) friends and their followers to read this and pass it on. this isn’t anything new, we’ve been dealing with antivaxxers for years, but I’m terrified seeing that monster act like my neurotype makes me a walking bubonic plague. the world already thinks I shouldn’t exist as it is. this cannot be allowed to stand.

Okay normally I don’t reblog political stuff.

But.

The vaccines-cause-autism scene is the most frightening stupidity in the 21st for me. Especially since the ‘doctor’ who claimed this ‘fact’ with a falsified study only lost his medical license and doesn’t serve a time in jail. Even though he caused already hundreds of deaths and even more in the future.

If the american president can already claim lies to be “alternative facts”, then imagine what he does with this already big lie spread around. There are already enough people in america who still believe in this lie of vaccines causing autism, people who refuse to be edcuated. Now, when even the “President” Donald Trump says that it does, there will be more sheeps to follow.
And also, his action towards this “problem”. What will he do? Ban vaccines? Is this your way to bring the healthcare of the U.S. back into a third world country? Because then it will.

Without vaccines, the so called “herd-immunity” will be weaken, and more and more children will become sick. There is already a measles-outbreak in the U.S. like it haven’t been seen in 20 years! And it is clearly linked to the anti-vaccinating scene.

The thing that anti-vaxers don’t understand it:

even by the lie’s logic - you choose between an autistic child and a dead child.
and you rather want your child dead.
